I taught spinning for over 20 yrs and loved every minute of it (and other group fitness classes). When we found out we were moving to the east side of Cincinnati, I lined up a few places to teach and then tried Power Ryde. After one class, I cancelled the other places I was going to teach because there was no way I could go back to a bike that didn't move!
In all the decades of teaching I have never been part of a community like Power Ryde; it is truly special - the instructors, the members, and the owners! I did a few marathons and a Half Ironman before having a serious back injury at age 25. I love that although I am not able to run again, I can still get a great workout with these bikes; I can relate to those that ride with limitations!
I have my undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology and my Doctorate in Physical Therapy so love combining my knowledge with a great workout!
When I am not teaching or working as a PT in Sports Medicine and Orthopedics I am taking care of my 5 little kids...that are dying to reach the pedals and join me for their first class!
